First aid
must be SMART!
Proper first aid must be given to the casualty judiciously, quickly and effectively. SMART TRAINING is focused on practical training of first aid procedures using elements of experiential pedagogy, where the course participants must actively solve simulations of real life-threatening situations. Classical theoretical interpretation and passive listening gives only a 50% chance of remembering the content. However, thanks to one's own actions and active experience, one is able to remember up to 90% of the content much better and permanently. And that is what first aid is all about.
First aid and me
I first came into contact with first aid during my studies at university and I knew immediately that I wanted to be intensively involved in first aid in the future. I took a basic first aid course, then went on to get my Recovery Paramedic certificate. I started working as a medic at summer camps, ski training courses and other sports camps and events. In cooperation with the Czech Red Cross, I performed medical supervisions at various events throughout South Moravia and the Highlands.
In 2012, I received my First Aid Instructor certificate, which allowed me to start teaching first aid courses. I completed internships at the South Moravian Region Health Rescue Service and participated in other extension courses that deepened my knowledge and skills
in the field of teaching first aid. At the Faculty of Sports Studies of Masaryk University I accredited the course of Recovery Paramedic, I am its guarantor and I organize and lecture it every year. I also act as a lecturer at corporate training and recovery paramedic courses. I attend conferences on first aid every year. I am a member of the Czech Resuscitation Council.
First aid courses offer
Basic course
for the public
The first aid course for the public provides basic knowledge and skills in first aid. The aim of the course is to familiarize participants with the basics of providing first aid not only in situations that immediately threaten a person's life, but also in situations that a person may encounter in everyday life. The course takes place in a full-time form with practical training using elements of experiential pedagogy. The course includes accident prevention, accident and non-accident conditions, resuscitation training, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) using simulations of real life-threatening situations.
Extended course
for the public
The extended first aid course for the public offers a deepening of knowledge and skills in providing lay first aid in emergency situations. The aim of the course is to strengthen and improve participants' abilities to respond to various life-threatening situations. In addition to basic first aid topics, the course also teaches participants advanced techniques for caring for an injured person and gaining the necessary confidence and self-assurance to provide flawless first aid. The course emphasizes practical exercises in real-life scenarios, which helps improve the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
First aid by
car accident
The first aid course is mainly intended for road users. The aim of the course is to raise awareness of road traffic prevention and safety, to acquire the necessary knowledge. Participants learn to provide quick and effective care to injured persons, to minimise the risk of further complications associated with road traffic and also techniques for securing the accident scene. The course emphasises practical training in the following procedures and first aid techniques used in traffic accidents in the form of simulations.
Basic course for construction practice
The basic course is essential to ensure the safety of workers on construction sites. The course includes teaching the principles of first aid and safe access
to the injured. Construction workers learn how to treat minor cuts and lacerations, treat fractures, sprains and dislocations and recognise dangerous conditions such as bleeding, shock and burns. Emphasis is also placed on providing basic CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The course also includes exercises in rescuing injured persons and learning how to prevent construction site accidents.
Extended course for construction practice
The course enhances knowledge and skills in providing lay first aid on construction sites. This course covers advanced wound care techniques such as the management of serious bleeding, spinal stabilization and necessary emergency transport of injured people in the field. You will learn how to identify and deal with complications such as sudden respiratory arrest or cardiac arrest. Hands-on simulations of real-life emergencies improve your ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations. The course also focuses on learning how to coordinate people on site when providing first aid.
Individual course
tailor-made
The tailor-made first aid course offers a wide range of possibilities to adapt the educational content to the needs of the candidate. The course is tailored to the client's requirements to reflect specific situations, their professional focus or personal needs. Those interested in the course can thus choose the specific first aid topics they wish to focus on. Following the course content, simulations of real life-threatening situations in situations and conditions that are crucial for the client are prepared.

The tutor was amazing and she is in the right place. It was my first first aid course and I'm sure it won't be my last. If given the opportunity, I would have gladly gone through some advanced training. I would definitely recommend it to everyone! Everyone should go through this course!

It was great! I'm sorry that the course is ending and that I won't learn more, because I think knowing how to give first aid is just so worthwhile! The instructor was great! I can recommend Ms. Eva! She was able to tell us all in a fun way how important first aid is.

Practice or personal experience always teaches you more than a separate interpretation. It was here that I learned that only with this experience, which is etched in my memory thanks to strong emotions, can I really help someone when they need it.
